The man's name was Xia Luote.
According to him, he was a member of the Church's Demon Hunter Witch Hall and one of the participants in this strategic operation in the Demon City.
"…There were eleven of us in this batch, and so far only the two of us are left."
Xia Luote said calmly, showing no signs of sadness on his face.
He casually pulled out two cigarettes from his pocket, tossed one to Wu Pifu, and lit one for himself.
Wu Pifu borrowed Xia Luote's lighter to ignite his cigarette and asked, "Why are you rolling your own cigarettes?"
Xia Luote laughed heartily, "Having some is already good enough. Although the Demon City is filled with all sorts of chaotic things, cigarettes like this only appeared after the nineteenth century. It's too difficult to get cigarettes from people of the future; instead, I can still find some tobacco."
Wu Pifu was taken aback and curiously asked, "What era are you from?"
Xia Luote replied, "I entered the Demon City in the year 1366 of the park."
Wu Pifu was genuinely surprised because, from his clothing to his smoking and even using a lighter, he looked nothing like a person from medieval Europe.
