Hua Yaosong asked in surprise.
Cheng Xinzhan saw the corpse-immortal knew something and felt suddenly hopeful.
He hurried on, “What sort of treasure is that? Please tell me, Dao-friend.”
Hua Yaosong thought a moment, then said, “This is the private treasure of Gu Chen of the Fiend-Corpse Valley. It can attack, defend, gather things and lay formations. Though suffused with fiendish energy, it truly is a rare treasure. But as far as I know, that Jade-Eyed Heavenly Net was already destroyed long ago. Where did you see it, sir?”
“Destroyed?” Cheng Xinzhan exclaimed, then asked, “When was it destroyed? How was it destroyed?”
Hua Yaosong answered, “That was before Gu Chen was sealed by the Longbrow Zhenren. Back then Gu Chen had cultivated to the Fifth Realm, and with that Jade-Eyed Heavenly Net he ran rampant across the land, committing all manner of atrocities. Few could stop him.
“In the late Yuan years, when chaos swept the land and demons rose in force, Gu Chen came to Qingzhou to pillage and slaughter the people.
At that time the abbot of Mount Jiuhua, Master Yutian, came down from his mountain and fought Gu Chen in midair.
