The Myriad-Laws Canon Masters of Gezao Mountain, Juqu Mountain, Sanyuan Mountain, and Bingfeng Mountain had all put forward the same person as the Myriad-Laws Canon Master representing Three Pure Ones Mountain: Mr. Renhui Guangfa.

An honorific is not the same as a Dao name or a dharma name, nor is it a temple name — you can’t just lock yourself away and make one up for yourself.
An honorific must be proclaimed by a great宗 and recognized by the world.
The宗 must be the imperial宗, not some ordinary sect; the state must be the unified realm, not a petty kingdom.
In short, a Dao name you decide for yourself; an honorific has to have the world’s assent.
By any standard, the Yellow Sea Dragon State and the four great Immortal Sects all had the standing to propose such an honorific.
Indeed, when such houses all put forward the same name for the same person, anyone who failed to understand that surely had only themselves to blame.
