In this dream world, ‘written characters’ had disappeared. It was said that only a very small number of people had managed to secure a few characters. The reason the village chief, Scholar Oh, was called a ‘scholar’ was because he knew a whole four characters.
Scholar Oh, who knew the words ‘The Vastness of Heaven and Earth,’ was said to be the greatest intellectual in this village. He passed on those characters to Hong-sang. And taught him the spell of The Vastness of Heaven and Earth.
For some reason, Hong-sang became able to use spells by writing The Vastness of Heaven and Earth in the air. And he was also introduced to the spirit beast that would travel with him.
“I choose you!” =Pyu~!
It was a spirit beast named Pita. It was said to be a being born from an unknown weed that had transformed into a spirit beast. Somehow, Hong-sang took a liking to this Pita.
And so.
Hong-sang took his first step to embark on a great adventure to find the scattered characters. =Hmph! I’m only going with you because I’m worried you’ll die on the road!
And then.
Mumu appeared before Hong-sang as he was leaving the village! Despite her words, hadn’t she even prepared a lunchbox for Hong-sang? =I just made it because I had leftover ingredients from making my own. A lunchbox filled with care.
