Sama-hyeon licked his lips with the tip of his tongue.
The metallic taste of blood lingered.
The man before him, Ma-du, was on a completely different level from anyone he had ever encountered before.
Despite appearances, Sama-hyeon was surprisingly calm.
The man in front of him didn’t seem like the type to make empty threats.
If he said he’d break his limbs, he’d do it.
If he said he’d kill his brothers, he’d do that too.
‘What a pity… If only I had a bit more internal energy, I could’ve given it a shot…’
A life like a bug.
Ah, what a joy.
What a joy! All he could do was laugh.
‘As the saying goes, “Good fortune often brings misfortune.” The old adage never fails.’
Still, thanks to his experience in theater, he knew a bit about literature.
It was only natural that bad things followed good ones.
Sama-hyeon laughed at himself.
‘Well, since it’s come to this, I might as well tear off half of his face before I go.’
If mutual destruction wasn’t possible, then taking half would have to do.
“Old man. By the way… that face of yours looks quite nice. Mind giving it to me?”
“Hmph. Desperate to die, are you? Well… don’t blame me too much.”
Madness surged from the depths of Sama-hyeon’s chest.
‘No internal energy? Fine.
Let’s just go wild with the innate qi~’
It might hurt a bit, but it still felt like a decent way to die.
