Clang!
Hwanggu had joined them.
When Jin Cheonhui announced his intention to travel the martial world, Hwanggu stubbornly insisted on coming along.
“You really have no intention of returning to the Dog Sect, huh?”
Pant, pant, pant.
Hwanggu wagged his tail and then approached Yoo Ho, flipping his belly over.
Yoo Ho scratched Hwanggu’s belly vigorously.
“Take care on your journey, Lord Hwanggu.”
There was something about Yoo Ho and Hwanggu that just clicked.
At first, it was a bit awkward, but soon, Yoo Ho seemed to understand Hwanggu’s intentions and responded accordingly.
Hwanggu, too, treated Yoo Ho like a friend, though differently from how he treated Jin Cheonhui.
Yoo Ho hung a medicine pouch around Hwanggu’s neck.
It was clearly custom-made to fit Hwanggu’s neck size.
Jin Cheonhui asked, “What’s that, Chief Yoo?”
“It’s Baekrin Geumchang Medicine and Baekrin Divine Pills. I also put some jerky in there for emergencies.”
It had always seemed to Jin Cheonhui that Yoo Ho liked dogs more than people.
The quality of the pouch on Hwanggu’s neck was noticeably different from the one Jin Cheonhui carried on his back.
“Did you really carve a white qilin on the medicine pouch?”
