“Today's second challenge is the Cloud Technique test,” Zuo Zhi's voice echoed.
“Using the four boundary markers of the East Suburb as limits, Lord Lu will demonstrate the Cloud Technique to cover the East Suburb.”
“Challengers must rise with the clouds; those whose clouds are lower than one hundred meters will be considered failures.”
“Challengers may only fight using the Cloud Technique; using other spells to attack others will be dealt with according to military law.”
“Those who dissipate their clouds will fail.”
“Those who faint due to insufficient vital Qi will fail.”
“Those who are pushed out of the boundary will fail.”
After Zuo Zhi recited the rules for the second challenge, the more than nine hundred participants below displayed various expressions.
Because some were skilled in the Cloud Technique while others were not.
Those confident in their Cloud Technique were smug.
Those who felt they could not hold on were dejected.
But no one questioned this method of assessment.
Because regardless of what direction one specialized in as a military agricultural officer, the Cloud Technique is fundamental to the Four Celestial Methods and is essential.
