620 The Past, Part One
An endless sea of golden light filled Yu Hong’s entire field of vision.
He stood inside the Dark Spirit, using his Sacred Power to support the entire safe house, preventing it from being swallowed or submerged by the mysterious golden sea.
He had no idea what this golden sea was for, but when his Sacred Power and body came into contact with it, he felt no discomfort at all.
This inexplicable feeling stirred a faint flicker of anticipation and hope in his heart.
“Could this be... the place?”
Suddenly, the thought in his mind came to an abrupt halt.
His eyes glanced forward, piercing through the window to gaze out at the boundless golden ocean.
He froze on the spot, standing motionless inside the control room, staring intently through the window.
Right before him, in this vast expanse of gold, floated countless pieces of irregular black stone slabs.
They packed the space densely, numbering at least ten thousand.
These slabs looked like black impurities suspended in the golden liquid, drifting slowly.
From afar, Yu Hong noticed that each slab was inscribed with writing.
Controlling the Dark Spirit, he steered it steadily forward without slowing down.
Soon, it gently bumped against the first black stone slab.
Thud.
A faint sound.
