“Something is wrong! Totally wrong! The language creature is coming!”
Fang Shijun was drenched in sweat, his whole body trembling as he took cautious steps backward.
“What about the data? Recalculate the passage! Chen Xinjì! Hurry!” Xue Ningning urged anxiously, her face pale.
Last time they had lost several teammates during a similar situation, and seeing this scenario unfold again filled them with dread.
“The data hasn't changed! We don’t have time!” Chen Xinjì exclaimed, flustered, as he frantically operated the computer, trying to compile the latest data.
The sky around them gradually darkened, as if a veil had been drawn over it.
It was still far from dusk, yet the daylight seemed to diminish significantly.
“How much is the red value now?” Xue Ningning shouted.
“It’s still zero! I can’t measure it! There’s just no way!” Chen Xinjì's hands shook in panic.
“Let’s go! Get out of here!” Xue Ningning gritted her teeth, supporting herself as she led the charge forward.
The group quickly followed her, weaving swiftly between the buildings.
However, after only a few minutes, they found themselves circling back to their original spot, facing the same twenty-story building!
Their expressions darkened with worry as they hastily tried to leave again.
