Heidi ran breathlessly to Vanna. Nearby, some guards instinctively tried to stop her as she approached, but quickly recognized that this disheveled young lady, covered in dirt, was a senior advisor from the town hall and the church, so they let her pass.
"You actually led the team yourself," Heidi said in surprise, looking at Vanna, who was fully armed, and then glancing at the elite members of the church behind her. "And you brought so many people?"
"A fire at the museum is no small matter," Vanna replied briefly. She then looked Heidi up and down several times, relieved to see her friend was okay. "Looks like your vacation is ruined."
"It’s ‘ruined again’!" Heidi said with a sad and resigned expression. "Why am I always so unlucky... ah, it hurts..."
Vanna noticed the unusual bump on Heidi's head. She stepped closer and gently touched the area around the injury while looking in the direction Heidi had come from, her brows furrowing slightly. "Did you just escape?"
