The evening bell rang three times, and before the third chime ended, Vanna had already arrived at the Grand Sanctuary. The old bishop, Valentin, was waiting there. This respected elder, dressed in a black priest's robe, stood silently in front of the statue of the Storm Goddess, Garmona, with his eyes closed in prayer. He heard someone enter the sanctuary and, without turning around, knew it was Vanna.
“Judge Vanna,” Valentin said in a deep voice, “the Storm Cathedral has sent a summons for listeners.”
“Directly from the Storm Cathedral?!” Vanna was surprised and quickly walked to the statue, placing herself in the glow of the lights. “Have they discovered a new anomaly or vision?”
“If it were just a new anomaly or vision, the bell wouldn’t have rung three times,” Valentin shook his head. “It’s the gravekeeper from the ‘tomb’ who sent the message. They say the body of the Nameless King is stirring. Although it’s unclear what message it wants to convey, it seems... the existing list is changing.”
As he spoke, the old bishop turned his head and quietly looked into Vanna's eyes.
