Duncan stared at Alice with a blank expression, as if looking at someone who didn't understand anything. The echoes from history still lingered in his mind, especially the calm and seemingly all-seeing gaze of the Frost Queen from half a century ago. But now, this complicated memory collided with Alice, who seemed like a clueless puppet, and it was becoming more absurd with her constant head tilting and silly sounds.
After a long moment, Duncan finally couldn't hold back and asked, "What are you doing?"
"Ah! Captain!" Alice finally realized, quickly holding her head and looking at him. "Oh, I just feel like a few strands of hair are stuck in my neck."
Duncan remained expressionless. "If you pull a couple more times, you’ll have to name your new hair."
"I already have a name! If they fall out, they’ll be called the Williams family..."
Duncan struggled to keep a straight face and resisted the urge to throw this puppet out of the cabin. After a few seconds, he sighed deeply, calming himself down.
