Li Hao turned his head and gave the black-robed youth a deep look.
After a moment of silence, he finally, slowly shook his head.
While fighting for first place would grant him more power and benefits, he would also have to bear more responsibility.
Even if this responsibility was not imposed by the Emperors, as the supreme commander, this catastrophe concerned the very survival of the entire True Realm!
Li Hao was willing to go to the battlefield, but he lacked the confidence to shoulder the countless lives of the myriad clans across the Four Domains!
Moreover, if he became the supreme commander, Old Feng and the others under his protection would also have to march into battle with him, which would be even more dangerous.
"You're giving up?"
When the Starry Sky Empress saw Li Hao's action, her expression was calm, showing no surprise.
"Yes."
Li Hao nodded.
Once he made the decision, he said no more.
The Starry Sky Empress's eyes narrowed slightly.
She examined him for a moment and finally nodded.
"In that case, you know when to advance and when to retreat."
Hearing her words, the others were secretly astonished, their gazes turning to the black-robed youth.
