—The Land of the Forgotten—
The great gate, once submerged in the deep sea, had become deformed over the years.
It had floated on the water’s surface for a long time.
Today, however, a disturbance rippled through the silence.
With a slow creak, the gate began to open.
A disheveled woman crawled out with great difficulty.
"Weren't you supposed to pick me up after a hundred years? Why has it taken so long? You made me find my own way back?"
The Grand Minister grumbled.
But when she took in the scene around her, she froze in shock.
The land was in ruins.
Coffins were everywhere.
There was barely any seawater left.
Countless corpses floated across the landscape.
The ground was covered in deep cracks.
"What… happened here?"
She couldn’t believe what she was seeing.
Walking through the desolation, she scanned her surroundings.
There was no sign of life.
"Where are the corpse collectors?"
Ascending into the air, she began her search.
