Jiang Hao and Hong Yuye left the eastern region.
Instead of heading north, they traveled directly south.
“There’s no one left in the northern region that I need to meet,” Jiang Hao remarked.
Hong Yuye remained silent; she had no particular desire to meet anyone. The people she cared to see had long since been dealt with.
“I had thought about meeting the Old Man of the Sea of Corpses, but unfortunately, I never came across him,” Jiang Hao said with a hint of regret.
The Old Man of the Sea of Corpses likely didn’t have any special background, but he certainly had unique skills. He could survive in the Sea of Corpses and even navigate across it. His cultivation level was ordinary, but his abilities were noteworthy.
“Can you still find him?” Hong Yuye asked curiously.
“Probably not. Back then, it was a matter of convenience. Now, it’s not,” Jiang Hao said with a smile.
The two of them soon arrived in the southern region.
As they entered, Jiang Hao led Hong Yuye to a small tea pavilion.
“Would you like some tea, esteemed guests?” A young man, likely in his thirties, greeted them warmly.
Jiang Hao looked at him and nodded slightly. “Yes, tea, please.”
