At the Bright Moon Sect—a place not quite as formidable as the Vast Heaven Sect yet still mightier than many average sects. It far surpasses the Heavenly Sound Sect in strength, but since it's quite a distance away, they don't have any significant influence on each other.
Unexpectedly, they'd come all this way to recruit disciples. Normally, taking new disciples wouldn't matter much, but there's fear they might get intercepted before reaching their sect.
If it were the Profound Heaven Sect, Falling Sunset Sect, or Wind Thunder Sect meddling, there wouldn't be much of an issue. Even if a big problem arose, it would be the sect's to bear, not his personally. These three sects are no weaker than the Heavenly Sound Sect and perhaps even stronger in foundation.
