The bad news was that Wei Zhengdao was indeed not dead.
The good news was that Wei Zhengdao was seeking death.
His survival left Li Zhuiyuan a bit disappointed, but his will to die managed to redeem his image in the heart of the youth, even making him seem a little more vibrant.
At the very least, Wei Zhengdao had not fallen to the depths of becoming a ghastly creature, neither human nor ghost, in pursuit of immortality.
Though, in truth, he had become a kind of bizarre being that even a monster would call a monster upon seeing him.
This "Five Senses Sealing Diagram" was the rope Wei Zhengdao used to hang himself.
He must have hung himself on that rope for a long time; with the wind and sun, the mud on his neck had stained it black, yet he still had not breathed his last.
Instead, he turned the rope into a cursed object.
This evil object would later require a Dragon King to personally subdue it, breaking it apart.
So, how dirty had Wei Zhengdao really been at that time?
However, when Wei Zhengdao broke free from his seal, the sealing diagram clearly hadn’t transformed into a wicked object.
Otherwise, based on Wei Zhengdao’s usual habits, he would have waved his hand and declared it "destroyed by the righteous path."
