A few young scholars were struggling and tugging, unable to make it up the wall.
Over a hundred apprentices gathered around the Martial Hall, taking up all the surrounding space, leaving no room for others.
The noble young master with a folding fan was fuming.
Scanning around, he pointed his fan at someone, "You, you, you, come over here!"
A farmer, who had taken a break to watch the fun, pointed at his own nose, "Me?"
"Yes, you."
Seeing the noble young man in fancy attire, the farmer didn't dare disobey and reluctantly approached.
The nobleman tossed a small silver bean over.
"One tael of silver, lift me up to the wall!"
The farmer's eyes lit up.
He bit the silver to confirm it was real and happily hoisted the nobleman up, setting him on the wall.
The rest of the scholars followed suit, each paying to get a seat on the wall.
They sat excitedly, gazing into the distance, when suddenly someone grabbed their shoulders, "Look, look, someone’s coming!"
"Whoa, he's huge! Must be six feet, right?"
"My goodness, I've never seen such a tall person before. He looks six foot one; his fists are like the size of my head! Which disciple is he?"
