The Illusion Slash had appeared in such a strange, uncanny way that Qiao Sang still had Lubao sitting on her head.
Qiao Sang and Lubao both sensed the danger and looked up at the same time.
The Illusion Slash was already falling.
“Watch out!” Tim, sitting further back, pupils snapping wide, yelled in a strained voice.
Xunbao heard the commotion and turned its head.
The instant Xunbao turned, a purple light slammed into Qiao Sang and knocked her over with a muffled groan.
Luckily her lower back landed on Yabao’s soft fur, so she avoided secondary injury.
Just as she was about to lift her head to see what had happened, a sudden, fierce pain surged through her body.
The pain was so intense and abrupt that Qiao Sang’s vision went black and she almost couldn’t get up.
Thankfully the pain came and went quickly — in a flash it was gone.
Qiao Sang propped up her upper body and looked.
A blue blade was cleaving into Steelbao’s body.
