581. The Thing Beyond (3) The beast of the boundary is completely unleashed. It squeezes out from the narrow passage and reveals its entire form.
Kugugugugugung!
The beast of the boundary shakes the boundary itself. The thing beyond tries to crush the boundary. The boundary moves to trample it down.
But it is impossible. The beast of the boundary howls greedily, asserting its territory.
Kuuuuuuung!
The territories clash and oppose each other. Neither side yields easily.
“You are indeed bigger and stronger,” Taesan muttered.
“But my boundary isn’t weak either.”
The boundary is something that exists between the universe and the thing beyond. Even if the opponent is the very domain of the high god, the fact that there is a superior relationship based on compatibility doesn’t change.
Kwadadadaduk!
The beast of the boundary slowly bulks up its body. As if enjoying true liberation, it expands its territory. But soon, it hits its limit.
At some point, the beast of the boundary can no longer increase its body size.
‘Well, that makes sense.’
There has to be a limit. Even if the true boundary is unleashed, it’s not an easy opponent that can be defeated so simply. Still, it doesn’t matter.
Victory was never what he truly wished for in the first place.
“I desire.”
The power of the broken wish. Just once, he can have what he wishes for. Whatever it may be.
