“Möbius Lizard?”
[Is that guy settled in the labyrinth?]
Arilnan showed a knowing look at the mention of that existence. The mage nodded in confirmation.
“Yes. He said he wanted to see what lies at the end of the labyrinth. He gladly accepted the contract with me.”
[He's someone who, anyway, has nothing to do until the end comes, but still does things his own way.]
“Thanks to him, I’ve gotten quite some help. Though right now, he’s interfering.”
“What kind of guy is he?”
“Taesan. Didn’t I keep telling you? I’m not the only one who made the labyrinth.”
Taesan nodded.
It was not surprising news. It was tough for one mage alone to build the system and structure of the labyrinth. So he met countless transcendent beings and proposed a challenge: wouldn’t they like to witness mortals risking their lives?
With those transcendent beings agreeing, the labyrinth as it is now came into being.
“The Möbius Lizard. Leviathan. He’s another transcendent being who helped create the labyrinth. Unlike other gods, he’s more of a mechanism.”
Mechanism.
It meant a being similar to Ouroboros.
“For what purpose?”
“For the end of everything.”
The mage said calmly.
“The end of the universe. The closure of the world. He’s the one responsible for that. When everything reaches its end, he reveals his true form and pronounces the finale.”
