[Pabsha. He's the God of Proof of the Self.]
The Ghost began to explain.
[He's a god in the literal sense. Prove yourself. Show what you've built. He's a god who bestows such trials. Last time, he was on a deeper floor, but he's come up here.]
“What kind of trial is it?”
[I didn't take it.]
It was an unexpected response. The Ghost was highly confident in his abilities, so Taesan had naturally assumed he'd taken it.
Taesan asked.
“Is it difficult?”
[Rather than difficult... if you only look at the clear rate, it's actually a very easy trial. But it's quite ambiguous.]
The Ghost said in a reluctant tone.
[Most of the Adventurers I remember took Pabsha's trial. And all of them cleared it and came out.]
This, too, was unexpected.
Taesan frowned.
“All of them?”
[Even those who weren't particularly outstanding, those who were about average, all succeeded.]
“That's... strange.”
To be precise, it's impossible. A divine trial is something bestowed by an immeasurably powerful being for their own amusement. They don't show consideration for ordinary Adventurers.
The majority might be able to clear it, but not everyone can. That's how the divine trials Taesan had seen so far had been.
[That's the strange part. And some of the guys who cleared the trial changed a little. Their way of speaking and their mannerisms changed.]
“...Doppelganger?”
