A being that guards Bekweseta.
A dragon.
Sometimes, the adventurers of the Labyrinth would mistake Taesan for a dragon. It meant he was a being of comparable strength. And now, Taesan finally understood why they thought so.
'Is there not much difference from a god?' At least in terms of the power he felt on the surface, it was hard to find any gap between the dragon and the gods he had seen. A gentle strength, unbelievable for a mortal being, flowed from the golden dragon.

“It’s not to kill me according to a god’s will, is it?”
[Of course not.]
The dragon smiled.
[I am a dragon tasked with protecting the surface. Whatever the gods desire is of no concern to me. That is why I have not laid a hand on the children of the Demon God who have settled in my land.]
The dragon slightly shifted its gaze. Looking outside the cave, Valveneles muttered.
