“He’s already fallen asleep, huh.”
Looking down at the small doll clutching the Omen Wandering Star, lying quietly and fast asleep on the sofa cushion, Huli couldn’t help but murmur.
Luna walked past the sofa, glanced over slowly, and said in a languid tone, “Because it’s time.”
“Her schedule is pretty regular,” Huli looked up at the clock hanging on the wall, casually stuffing the wool yarn back into her tail, then got up and stretched lazily. “I’ll take her back to her room.”
“Don’t wake her up,” Luna warned, “She’ll make a big fuss.”
“She won’t wake up, I’m very steady~”
Huli said proudly, then wrapped the tiny doll on the sofa with her tail and headed upstairs with the little fellow.
Luna glanced at the TV, seeing an ad for a robot vacuum cleaner in the middle of a program.
She tilted her head, watched for a while, then casually turned off the TV, muttering, “Really can… Lenovo…”
Huli arrived at the master bedroom upstairs and found the neatly lined-up trunks in the corner against the wall.
She carefully placed the small doll, still wrapped in her tail, into one of the trunks, then quietly took out the stone ball cradled in the doll’s arms and set it on the bedside table, careful not to make any noise.
