Yang Yiyi was, at her core, an honest and simple girl from a farming family. Having been cooped up in her sect for ten years, although she had heard tales of the martial world from her senior martial sisters who went out, she had never seen a demon show up at her door demanding justice.
She was utterly flustered on the spot. Especially with Great King Shanying's little monkeys stirring up trouble and telling tales, Yang Yiyi couldn't even manage half a word of defense.
"Brother Li, what should we do?"
"Don't panic. They're all monkeys; the monkey demon will surely believe its own kind. Let me ask what it wants."
With a nervous expression, Yang Yiyi held the jade tablet up in front of her. Great King Shanying looked on with confusion, wondering, Why is this 'hairless monkey' pointing a stone at me?
"You're Great King Shanying, right? Our Yang Yiyi said it was your monkeys who started it, but I doubt you'll listen. I want to know how you plan to get your justice."
Great King Shanying asked doubtfully: "What kind of demon are you? How come I've never seen you before?"
"Never mind where I'm from for now. Today, let's just talk about the monkeys getting beaten."
