Demon Lord Calendar, Year 648. The seventh day of the fifth month, midday. At the southern foot of the Spine of the World Mountains, nestled against the great sea, stood a prosperous city.
It was the largest logistics hub in the entire Northlands; a third of all goods transported from the south to the north had to pass through this place. This was Sailing Harbor. When the city was first established, it was actually just a port for stockpiling supplies.
In the early days of the Avarus Demon Kingdom, they had once sought to explore the ends of the world. Both the Leon Territory and Sailing Harbor were established during this period.
But unlike the Leon Territory, which remained a remote backwater, Sailing Harbor, originally just a port for exploration ships, had now developed into a major city of great importance through commerce. Later, to counter the navy of the Dudelong Demon Kingdom, the Avarus Demon Kingdom stationed all its North Sea fleets near Sailing Harbor.
With an army stationed there, the commercial city was rapidly fortified, which was an important reason why it could hold out for so long in a siege. As it was originally a transportation hub, Sailing Harbor was extremely well-stocked with supplies.
