It was as if a giant was leaning over the outside of a petri dish, looking down and gazing at everything inside.
Under the stare of that strange eye, everything inside seemed like a broken display screen—colors flashed in chaotic blocks, cracks snaked through images, flickering unpredictably.
The game was bugging out: textures scattered wildly, polygons distorted without rule, collision volumes lost control, and harsh noises rang out one after another.
Compared to the twisted, warped sea region as a whole, the meteor falling from the sky was like a tiny firefly.
Under the gaze of that one eye, it quickly turned transparent, fading from existence to nothingness, becoming a phantom, completely vanishing.
In the blink of an eye, the twilight’s last light burned out, and everything returned to darkness.
Boom!
In the very last moment before its disappearance, the blistering meteor suddenly trembled and shattered, stirring up a massive wave that covered the entire sea.
The wild shockwave howled out in all directions.
Explosion!
But unfortunately, that force still wasn’t strong enough to break through the “curtain” layered over reality.
At best, it only peeled back one corner, revealing the monstrous secret hidden behind the illusions.
Corpses.
Countless corpses.
