"Break time, break time!"
"Today there's orange chicken again, woohoo!"
At noon that day, the whole group happily ran off to the canteen to eat.
Uma Thurman — fifteen years old, technically still a little girl — always got excited at mealtimes.
She thought this place was interesting; it still kept the Hollywood studio system, where eating, living, and working were all together, like some kind of closed institution.
The canteen was quite full.
Chen Qi had already got his meal and sat with Gu Weili and Jiang Zhiqiang; one assistant handled internal matters, the other external.
"Ah Qiang, in a while go to the U. S. to see Bob Shay, talk to him about sending Little Sweetheart to the Sundance Film Festival."
"That one Robert Redford started?"
"Right."
"What about the other films?"
"Those others have too low a tone, no talking points. Little Sweetheart has a theme of a minor killing her father — we can give it a shot. Even if it doesn't win anything, it'll attract attention and help distribution."
"Okay."
Jiang Zhiqiang nodded.
